Underpinning

At Castellano Construction, we offer underpinning to extend the foundation of any building  in depth and/or breadth. Underpinning can change your cramped, shallow basement into an area that allows you enough head room to stand up straight. Underpinning can help take the basement floor and lower it by a certain amount – several feet, in some instances. This would allow you to no longer have to duck every time you have to access the water heater or circuit breaker.

Waterproofing your basement is an important part of home ownership. At Castellano Construction, we use techniques and materials used to prevent water from penetrating the basement of a house or a building. Waterproofing a basement that is below ground level can require the application of sealant materials, the installation of drains and sump pumps, and more.
